Det er nogle meget smukke stof farver og et kønt mønster du her viser. Jeg kan ikke se arbejdet i fuld størrelse. Er det en dug eller et tæppe

    • Hej Annie! Thanks for commenting! Although I found your comment hard to understand, I understood as much as it is in Dutch and you are asking how my Broken Dish pattern looks in its entirety. It is but a small part of a large quilt which I am currently hand quilting. I am going to post pictures of the finished quilt here soon. But I already posted pictures of the unquilted piece here.

  4. How much do you spend on an average quilt do you think? I feel like the more I quilt the less expensive it will be because I will start acquiring all the materials that I don’t need to buy everytime. My last quilt cost me a total of about 60$ but I had to buy a rotary blade, cutting board and a new pair of scissors. Then of course all the fabric. Your ideas are smart, creative and beautiful. I love them!

    • oh, i never get that feeling! i don’t have a big stash like so many quilters do. when i start a new quilt i always have to buy almost all the fabrics-which is one of the fun parts of making quilts 🙂 but then you need batting, backing fabric, thread, new cutting blades, and i’m working with my fourth cutting mat so far! and where i live, fabric is much more expensive than in the u.s. for example. in fact, now that i’m almost done with the 111 blocks of my farmer’s wife quilt i am forced to stop and first put some money aside before i’m able to buy the sashing and backing fabrics.
thanks so much for commenting and liking! i’m looking forward to seeing more of your quilting projects!
